Morale High on Operation #EndBokoHaram

It was just 9 days ago since the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari declared and demanded that  the newly elected service chiefs put  an end to the activities of boko haram within 3 months   and in a move which i consider quite daring, the Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai himself led troops on Saturday in conducting mop up operations in areas formerly occupied by members of the Boko Haram sect in the north-east.

The operation followed the recent aerial bombardment of terrorists’ enclaves in the Borno State.
According to the general, he was happy doing it and in his opinion, the operation was very important to connect properly with the troops in the field and  to raise the morale of the troops.

Lieutenant General Buratai reassured Nigerians that the military was making efforts to end the insurgency in the north-east very soon.
The exercise paid-off with the arrest of six insurgents fleeing from their hideouts pretending to be herdsmen while terrorists  before the mop operation had earlier ambushed another group of soldiers on patrol killing one and injuring two.
