Nine rabbits rescued after building collapse in Kenya

There is more hope at the Huruma collapsed building after rescuers found nine rabbits alive in the rubble

Wednesday morning. This came as the death toll rose to 26 following the recovery of three more bodies. The rescuers are rushing against time to rescue more people following the incident.

Kenya Red Cross on Wednesday morning posted on Twitter about the rescue of the animals that were trapped in the collapsed building for five days. “Rescuers at collapsed building in Huruma, rescued 9 rabbits alive. Hope of life under the rubble,” said a tweet from Kenya Red Cross.

The rabbits were found in one of the rooms there giving an indication one of the tenants stayed with them. It comes a day after a six months old baby girl was pulled out alive from the rubble.
