#Brexit Kim Kardashian Knocked off Google Throne

Kim Kardashian has been knocked off the top of Google searches thanks to the EU referendum - but not for the reason you'd think.

On Thursday night, the UK was gripped by anticipation as they awaited the results following a political battle over the future of the nation in the European Union.

With David Dimbleby hosting BBC 's coverage - as he has for every general election since 1979 - the broadcaster had a huge surge in UK Google searches and overtook the reality TV queen just hours into the marathon stint on air.
