Canadian town drop " Land of Honey and Rape" Slogan
After 58 years, the Town of Tisdale in Canada recently dropped it's town slogan , " Land of Rape and Honey' after various complaints.
Before jumping to conclusion, Rape in this context refers to rapeseed also known as canola which grow in the area along with Honey.
Tisdale, a town of 3,500 in the province of Saskatchewan, had used the old slogan since 1958. It said in a news release its new one will be: “Opportunity grows here.”
According to Guardian , Tisdale also said it was rolling out a new website for the town. As of Monday afternoon, the old website with the “land of rape and honey” slogan was still posted online, however.
Video : Bomb goes off while young Syrian girl was singing
A distressing video has captured the moment a young Syrian girl is singing happily to her mother - before a bomb suddenly explodes outside her home.
It is the latest harrowing image from Syria after a young boy pictured in an ambulance has become a symbol of the horror of the country's civil war.
In the clip, the little girl appears to be sitting on a chair while singing a tune to her mother, who seems to be holding the camera.
But towards the end of the footage, a bomb suddenly explodes, rocking the building and distorting the camera's image.
Immediately, the mother jumps up and grabs the child, carrying her into another room.
It is not clear what happened to the family.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission report said that the 7-foot alligator bit two-year-old Lane Graves’ head as the boy bent down at the edge of a lagoon gathering sand for a sandcastle at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and that the boy died from a crushing bite and drowning.
