Kogi state election declared inconclusive After reports emerged all over social media , that APC candidate, Audu Abubakar was the winner of the gubernatorial election in Kogi state. The returning officer, Professor Emmanuel Ucha in a recent announcement declared that the Kogi state election was inconclusive as there were irregularities in some parts of the state during the polls, specifically 91 polling units. Also , the margin between the two major contesting parties, APC and PDP, according to chief returning officer was not enough to declare a winner between Idris wada and Audu Abubakar. The margin between the two parties is a little above 41, 000. So supplementary elections will take place in the areas in which voting did not take place or which irregularities occurred. A date for the election within the 91 polling units will be announced within a week.
