MTN hires Eric Holder to challenge $3.9billion fine

MTN group has hired former attorney general of the United States, Eric Holder, to challenge the $3.9 billion fine imposed on the telecommunication giant by the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC), according to a report by the Financial Times.

This is coming two weeks after seeking an out-of-court settlement with the NCC.

Holder is alleged to have been in Abuja recently.
