#Oscars 2017 : The Nominated “not so white” and a few facts you need to know

The nominations for the 89th Oscars award ceremony have been released and we have some surprises( although not too surprising as the snubs). Before we get to the second interesting part, Here are the major categories and persons / films that were nominated for each category

Best picture:

Now, to the interesting part, First the Snubs, in my opinion , Dead pool  and Ryan Reynold  not being nominated was a big Snub for me, while Some also think "Amy Adams" should have been nominated for " Arrival" .

  1.  7 out of 20 people nominated for the Oscars were not White

  2. Viola Davies got 3 nominations ( hopefully she wins more than one)

  3.  3 Black actresses got nominated for the supporting actress award.

  4.  LaLa Land got 14 nominations tying with all time classic, Titanic and all about Eve"

On this note , we await the award ceremony on the 27th of February  and May the best men and women win.
